Post Occupancy Evaluations
To assist all those responsible for the management and operation of buildings we offer post occupancy evaluations (POE) to assess the level of operational performance achieved.
To enable a sufficient sample of operational data to be reviewed the evaluation is usually undertaken twelve months post building occupancy. The evaluation measures a range of key building performance indicators such as sustainability, life cycle cost, and user productivity to identify areas of poor performance and opportunities for improvement.
Once the evaluation is completed a client report is issued identifying those areas of that would benefit from improvement in management and operational procedures and those areas that would benefit from significant investment.
Where significant investment is required a more detailed review is undertaken to assess the performance of building elements and components on a room by room basis. The findings of this review are used to develop a building life cycle maintenance plan to ensure the desired level of performance is achieved.
